From design inception to move in, we found every step in building our home with Ron Fogle Construction to be a pleasure. Ron listened carefully as we expressed our needs and wants. He provided a selection of floor plans then listened to our input and made adjustments. Together we arrived at a floor plan which we have found to be wonderfully livable and perfect for us. His care in selecting subcontractors coupled with the above board manner he dealt with them was reflected in their allegiance to him and their commitment and care to the building process.
We continually experienced Ron's honesty, integrity, attention to detail, and his genuine interest in us and in every phase of our project. Ron kept us abreast of progress and notified us in a timely manner of decisions we needed to make.

We came to the conclusion we did not want to work with any high pressure realtors or builders. We thought we had found one as we walked into a spec house for ideas and were approached by obviously the leader of the open house. "Hi, I'm Ron Fogle. I built this house. Please feel free to roam around and look. I'm here if you have any questions." That easy going, mannerly self-introduction marked the rest of our experience with Ron, as we shortly thereafter declared him our builder. He did answer every question we had, showed us some we should have asked (!), worked carefully on at least two floor plans which we decided to scrap- but patiently developed with us the one we settled on and are now living in. Ron's upbringing, educational background, experience in finance and design found convergence in his work. He is a craftsman and an artist. You won't go wrong building a house with him.

Ron Fogle built a mother-in-law house for us behind our home, something he had not attempted before, nor had we. Throughout the process, he worked closely with us, making revisions and taking suggestions as we went along. We could not have been more pleased, not only with Ron but also with the sub-contractors he selected. Everyone was accommodating and pleasant to work with, and the project came in under budget. If you look up the word "integrity" in the dictionary, it should include a picture of Ron Fogle!

When deciding to build a new home, we had many reservations. Not only were we unsure of the process, but we were hesitant because of the many "horror stories" we had heard from friends that had gone through the process. Out of all of the uncertainty, we knew the MOST IMPORTANT part of the process was choosing the RIGHT BUILDER! The main criteria in that selection process for us included honesty, integrity, work ethic, quality of work, and attention to detail. We quickly learned Ron Fogle represented all of these.
He was very patient with us when making changes to the floor plan and when we needed help and/or suggestions with those changes, he gave us many options to choose from. He was very prompt with communication and kept us informed of where we were in the process and what to expect during each phase. Even now that we've been in our house a few months, he is still just as prompt with communication and responding to any questions we may have.
I would definitely recommend Ron Fogle and Ron Fogle Construction to any of my family and friends for their homebuilding needs. We LOVE our new home and we look forward to raising our family here and making many, many happy memories.

Tell anyone you are building a house, and you will get tons of advice. When we decided to build our home, we were inundated with suggestions. The truest statement we heard over and over was to be sure to work with a quality builder. Now that we are living in our home, we can say that we worked with the best builder, Ron Fogle. In all steps of the building process we had clear communication and a consistent commitment to our project from Ron. From the planning stages, to closing, to questions after construction and occupation, Ron provided detailed and timely plans to involve us, allowed us time to make decisions and kept us informed. Many times throughout construction we compared notes with other families building homes and more often than not, when we said that Ron "provides this planning" or "met us at the house for this question or decision", other families said, "my builder doesn't do that." After spending a couple of years of looking at dozens of homes and talking to several builders, we were still debating whether or not to build a new home. Then we walked through a home built by Ron Fogle Construction. After setting up an appointment and talking to him, our decision was made. We had very specific ideas on some aspects of our home, but on others we needed a lot of help. In both cases, Ron was very patient and careful. He took a floor plan that was close to what we wanted and modified it to make it exactly what we wanted. When things came up that we weren't sure about, he always gave us options and much needed advice. We appreciated the fact that Ron didn't take shortcuts to rush our completion date. Ron knows that his name goes into your house too, and builds to the quality level that he would want in his own home.
His involvement didn't end when he handed us the keys either. Any issue or concern that we had was always promptly taken care of with just a phone call. When my husband Garth and I decided to move from Southeast Texas to the Merkel area (back home for me) and build a new house, we had no idea who to hire for the project. Since I had recently retired, my new "job" was to find the right builder for our custom home.
I met Ron Fogle at a Sunday-afternoon "open house" and was very impressed, not only with him personally, but also with the workmanship I had seen in several of the homes he had built. Since we were more than 400 miles away and wouldn't actually be moving to the area until the house was completed, it was very important that we find someone that we were comfortable with and could trust to build our "dream home." Whenever we were in town - even on weekends - Ron would take the time to meet with us personally. Any question or concern along the way was dealt with promptly, fairly and with the utmost courtesy, from the moment we signed the contract until the final walk-through - and then some!

Ron has been my friend for a long time. I wanted most of all to be friends when we finished this project and I am happy to say, we are still good friends.
I think communication is Ron's greatest strength; whether the news was good or bad, it was always communicated directly to us and in a timely manner. Ron kept us informed daily of what was going to happen, when it would happen, and ahead of time as to the decisions we needed to make. There were no "last minute" surprises.
